Shopping for Banishment

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on May 24, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliMay 24, 2008

My friend Georgie said, “I thought about you in HEB the other night — shopping with you. Made myself giggle.” “Oh I’m sure we’d get kicked out of a store.” “Just a little kick.” “No, banished.” “Why?” “Because I tend to steal other people’s shopping carts, after they’ve filled them up and then I argue with them–that they haven’t paid for it yet, it’s not theirs, and I like it, so I’m taking it.” She’s laughing. “But I haven’t done that in a long time,” I added. “I’m gonna have to wear some Depends,” Georgie said. “Yeah! Maybe I’ll steal … Continue reading →

The Bitch & Stumble

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on May 24, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliMay 24, 2008

Myself and two friends are all fired up about getting our bodies back in shape. We’re realizing, that just as all the sages warned, we aren’t getting any younger. (dammit). I’m also going organic and making all my personal care and household products, but that’s another blog… Anyway, so the three of us are doing the 6×30 routine on a Gazelle. That was the invention of my friend, Justi, who began to work out on the Gazelle six times per day for 30 minutes, and has seen fantastic results. Now, not everyone works at home and can do this, but … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"I'm so horny lately that I've been setting my cell phone on vibrate, putting it in my pocket, and hoping like hell someone calls."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Quotes for Writers

Writing is an occupation in which you have to keep proving your talent to those who have none. ~ Jules Renard

Favorite Quotes

"Believe it and you can achieve it!" "You create your own reality." "The only limits are the limits of your imagination." Catchy phrases, but if you fall for them, you're back in a narrow narcissistic focus where you care nothing for fate, weather, or the stock market, much less your own emotional needs. When you've sold yourself that bill of goods, you lose your respect for reality and become intoxicated with the illusion of your own potential.
~ Barbara Sher

I'm so glad that @Lawrence is slamming the unprofessional and dangerous misinformation and bandwagon mentality of the mainstream media. They deserve to be slammed. #CrimesAgainstJournalism

The WaPo reports that among the items that the FBI was looking for in its search of Trump’s home were NUCLEAR DOCUMENTS.
Can somebody please remind me precisely why the Saudis held their golf tournament at Trump's resort, and why they gave Kushner $2B?

My mattress sags on the side, and I used to use pool noodles for that but they are hellaciously expensive now. I have adjustable platform, so I need something supportive but bendy. Suggestions?
