New Videos of Supernatural Hypocrisy

Posted on October 25, 2009 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 8, 2013

I have posted a widget to show my videos of my 6-volume book, Supernatural Hypocrisy: The Cognitive Dissonance of a God Cosmology on my blog for that project–the other blog is at the link. I hope it will be a more accessible way for those busy-bees among us to enjoy the content. As for the book itself, it has become such a Magnum Opus. I am considering breaking it into several volumes. But even if I do that, it is still taking more time than i like to complete. The reference section alone is up to 20 pages. So I … Continue reading →

Maintenance Mike & The Domesticated Harpy

Posted on October 12, 2009 by Kelli Jae BaeliOctober 12, 2009

My morning started off rudely. I was awakened first by the construction noises nearby on another patio. And i drifted in and out of sleep, still needing another few hours. Then a banging at my door set my heart to pounding. And the person kept banging. I hurried to open the door, my pistol behind my back as usual, (I am a single woman who lives alone. I make no apologies) and opened the door. The construction guy was standing there with three other guys (already a little daunting for a woman alone) and announced that I had to move … Continue reading →

What Would You Do to Have it?

Posted on October 11, 2009 by Kelli Jae BaeliOctober 11, 2009

My friend Justi and I were talking about our various relationships and non-relationships last night–she’s in one, I’m not. Part of the reason i relocated to Denver was so that I could meet different types of people than i have been privy to in the past, and have a better chance of meeting someone I could actually commit to. She asked me if i would ever consider moving again if i met “the one” and “the one” was elsewhere. My knee-jerk answer was NO. My knee-jerk answer used to be “yes.”But as I told her, I know that I simply … Continue reading →

Writing Words of Wisdom

Posted on October 11, 2009 by Kelli Jae BaeliApril 27, 2013

I was recently asked (again) for words of wisdom regarding being a writer and seeking publication. So I thought I would just blog it. I have some strong opinions about writing and publishing, springing from my own experience over 20-25 years of pursuing it, and numerous blogs, articles, essays, and having written and rewritten 33 books; added to this is also webmastering, book cover design, typography, editing, and publishing. I wanted to learn all the aspects of completing a book. My most commonly offered caveat is this: don’t fall in love with your words; fall in love with your craft. … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"Some answers overpower some questions."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

First, I'm not trying to give the Gov of NY any hint of a break. But the media needs to do better. Gym Jordan is still in Congress. And trump has to surrender his DNA for possible rape. Cawthorn has multiple accusers. So, why aren't they getting the same coverage?

When CPAC erected a giant, shining stage in the shape of a Nazi SS symbol at Hyatt Hotel Orlando, it was warmly welcomed. And when neo-Nazis came to plot and play for the weekend, Hyatt happily saluted them. #ByeHyatt, forever.
