Simplified Science Blog?

Posted on May 20, 2013 by Kelli Jae BaeliMay 3, 2018

The educational system (especially in the U.S.) has failed to provide a useful appreciation of the sciences. Because of that, we have a string of social issues that stem from the generalized ignorance about the world we live in. Instead of just being disgusted by the plentiful ignorance, I’d like to try to do something about it. Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"I don't have a spatula big enough to turn that shit-patty over."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

What a speech by National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman.

Did you know—she even once had a speech impediment as a young child.

Overcoming adversity is what makes us stronger and better in life.

.@GOPLeader McCarthy congratulates Biden and Harris, says he's proud of them.

No acknowledgement that he pushed the Big Lie they didn't win, joined that mendacious TX AG lawsuit, voted to disenfranchise AZ and PA voters based on lies AFTER the terrorist siege.
