In order to do this, I feel I have to branch out in my writing and create stories in genres that are typically male-dominated. Women need in a voice in those, too. Thus, I will be adding this new tag to all my books. I call it #FemFic. I hope all of you in the Twitterverse will use it, too–help get it going. IF it can gain traction, i will petition Amazon to include it in … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"Some people have goodness and merit buried deep inside and we glimpse it and see its value but ultimately it's covered by so much dirt that it's a 24/7 exercise in archaeology."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Quotes for Writers

“I don’t believe in being serious about anything. I think life is too serious to be taken seriously.”

Word of the Day

redoubt ree-DOUT A small, often temporary defensive fortification. A reinforcing earthwork or breastwork within a permanent rampart. A protected place of refuge or defense.

Favorite Quotes

“Every fact of science was once damned. Every invention was considered impossible. Every discovery was a nervous shock to some orthodoxy. Every artistic innovation was denounced as fraud and folly. The entire web of culture and ‘progress,’ everything on earth that is man-made and not given to us by nature, is the concrete manifestation of some man’s refusal to bow to Authority. We would own no more, know no more, and be no more than the first apelike hominids if it were not for the rebellious, the recalcitrant, and the intransigent. As Oscar Wilde truly said, ‘Disobedience was man’s Original Virtue.” ~ Robert Anton Wilson

Bernie Sanders legacy.
Renaming a post office, getting trump elected, and stopping a brown woman from getting a job. Also the creation of the toxic/fascist Bernie bros!

Biden on the Texas and MS reopenings: "We are on the cusp of being able to fundamentally change the nature of this disease because of the way in which we're able to get vaccines in people’s arms. … The last thing, the last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking."
