Bad Knees & Deliveries
Okay, so my day so far:
Because the VA again dropped the ball on my healthcare, I had to order my own crutches, knee braces, and Kinesiotape to treat my MCL/ACL issues. I saw that they were to be delivered on Friday, not Wednesday.
So I get on chat with Amazon (which I really hard to find. They bury it very well) and asked why I pay for Prime membership to get 2-day shipping, when the shipping always seems to take 5-days.
They explained about warehouses and that it’s really counted from when it leaves, not when I order it, blah blah blah, and we will give you a $10 credit on your account for the inconvenience.”
Fine.
That was yesterday. Today, I get a text saying my package has been delivered. I think, “Wow, they actually got it to me in two days because I complained.”
Nope.
I open the package and realize that it belongs to my neighbor. They have delivered the wrong package to me. To be fair, we have TERRIBLE service here from the post office and many things never reach their destination, coming or going.
I get back on chat, and explain the issue AGAIN.
What unfolds is another quintessential example of that crappy customer service this world is known for.
Long story short: I took my neighbor’s package to them, and mine arrived a few days later.
