Hang-outs, Sculpture & Tangents

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on December 7, 2011 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 8, 2013

Sitting down with my first cup of coffee. I’ve been noticing that I’m beginning to ramble and go on tangents in the morning, recently. This is a good thing, as I need to get back to writing novels. So my readers will please forgive anything that might spill out after this paragraph…it’s even more likely to happen because this is the first writing I am doing upon waking… SO. Recently someone I’ve been talking to online mentioned she was a sculptor, and also asked me where I hang out. I don’t really have a hang-out, per se. If I did, … Continue reading →

Tell Me About Yourself

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on June 4, 2011 by Kelli Jae BaeliJune 4, 2011

When I’m single, and meeting new women, dating and searching for that special someone who will fit harmoniously into my life, I often come across women who say “Tell me about yourself.” I hate that question. Not because i can’t talk about myself, or am not self-actualized enough to be able to communicate my identity, but because it’s like standing in a library and someone asking, “What’s in all those books?” I usually have the urge to refer them to my books, or blogs, or music or art. Then they say, “I don’t want to look at your art, or … Continue reading →

Sand Animation

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on February 6, 2010 by Kelli Jae BaeliDecember 5, 2011

We often hear people say “that’s amazing” but this epitomizes the word. That something as simple as sand and light and human hands can create art so profound and breathtaking and emotive–it just defies description. You must treat yourself to this 8 minutes. It will be well spent.

Figs From Hell

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on September 11, 2003 by Kelli Jae BaeliSeptember 11, 2003

or FIGtastropheorThe 7th Circle of Hell is Full of Figs and I Can’t FIG-ure It Out It was supposed to be a simple process. My friend, Justice Harlow, drew a logo for someone. A company called The Hairy Fig. We were going to scan the drawings and then import them from the scanner to Paint Shop Pro, where I would resize them according to the needs for the website, and for business cards. Somewhere in the middle of all this, something went terribly wrong. It began when my friend asked me to place all the large versions of the 4 different … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"Some answers overpower some questions."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

The WaPo reports that among the items that the FBI was looking for in its search of Trump’s home were NUCLEAR DOCUMENTS.
Can somebody please remind me precisely why the Saudis held their golf tournament at Trump's resort, and why they gave Kushner $2B?

My mattress sags on the side, and I used to use pool noodles for that but they are hellaciously expensive now. I have adjustable platform, so I need something supportive but bendy. Suggestions?
