Two 2020 Mantras:
Adapt or die, Vote or die

Posted on May 18, 2020 by Kelli Jae BaeliMay 18, 2020

ADAPT OR DIE. That’s the new mantra. Our world has changed, and don’t you believe for a hot minute the fairy tale that things will go back to “normal.” First, they haven’t been “normal” for the last three-plus years. Second, there is no way they ever will, because too much has changed, and there are things that SHOULD CHANGE. This is a flashpoint. A pivotal point in our history. We can take the opportunity now to implement all those things that got bogged down in various sociopolitical quicksands, and create a brighter future for us all. Or we can fuck … Continue reading →

another bitch of a ditch

Posted on March 14, 2020 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 14, 2020

Change is good, they said. I believe that’s true, most days. Especially since I feel I’ve been in a bitch of a ditch for the last 7 years. Well, not the same ditch. Different ditches. But ditches, just the same. Trenches, maybe. Foxholes. Caves? Anyway, I was ready for those changes we were finally able to make. My wife was about to get a small inheritance. Just enough to get us where we needed to go, if we were lucky. But the inheritance was delayed by various machinations, a few of them due to some abject assholery perpetrated by other … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

You can't put constraints on love. Wherever you may find it, you must embrace it with your all heart, your mind, your soul. For you may never pass this way again, and if you do, love might be upon another path.

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

It is crazy even to ask what creativity is. It would be just as useful to interview a caraway plant in your garden and ask: "How did you decided to be a spice." ~ Eeva Kilpi

"The very least you can do in your life is to figure out what you hope for. And the most you can do is live inside that hope. Not admire it from a distance but live right in it, under its roof." ~ Barbara Kingsolver

@BernieSanders 1) You're NOT a Democrat & don't speak for them
2) Voters rejected you in the two primaries.
3) You've been in D.C. for 30 years & yet get anything "bold" implemented.
4) The bold actions that Democrats do take, you either say they're "not good enough" or try to take credit.

Only in America can immigrant senators like Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz be against immigration. Spread their shame.

There are many domestic terrorists who stormed the Capitol that are receiving minor charges, light bail or no bail, & some DOJ are considering not charging at all.

This sets a horrible precedent for ANOTHER attack because without SEVERE consequences bad people will do this again
