New Harbor Witches series

Posted on March 24, 2016 by Kelli Jae BaeliNovember 17, 2017

Box Set coming soon Read an excerpt!         Random Excerpts: The old Gemma charm was quickly winning her over. It was hard not to like someone who insisted on sucking the marrow out of the bones of life. Her enthusiasm for pleasure was surpassed only by her ability to make pleasure her bitch. …impaling each other with the delight of joyous demons hiding in heaven. Searing rays of light shot through the bistro windows like a Double Slit experiment. Her leg shook from the effort of holding the gas pedal down. Her tongue stuck to … Continue reading →

Excerpt: His eyes fell to the package on the floor of the culvert, his voice echoing in the concrete tunnel. “What have you done?” Roman hissed. “What you won’t.” Roman squinted at his sister. “Again, I thought we were supposed to be sharing the helm.” She shoved her hands in the pockets of her patchwork leather coat. “That ship has sailed.” Flippant as always. “So is this your version of a coup? Shall I graciously step down and leave you to your own devices?” “Probably wise.” “Rayna!” he scolded. “You’re not suited to leadership, dear brother. Your spine is … Continue reading →

New Harbor Witches #1

Posted on January 13, 2015 by Kelli Jae BaeliSeptember 21, 2020

“An intelligent, well written story. In a refreshing departure from many ‘paranormal romances’, this book is truly well written. A combination of a page turning mystery combined with the melding of people that you want to cheer for. Treat yourself and read this book!” From an already accomplished writer, comes an engaging, sexy, and suspenseful new series about two sisters who thought they were ordinary, until they discovered they were not. Dane sparks runs a bistro and her best friend Trevor is the pseudo-chef who has tried every imaginable way to kill himself, but oddly, never succeeds. Gemma is a … Continue reading →

Pitfall:
#1 bestseller- Lesbians. Dinosaurs. Time-Travel. Fun.

Posted on September 18, 2014 by Kelli Jae BaeliSeptember 11, 2020

150 million years ago. The Jurassic. 400 thousand dinosaurs. Dr. Veronica Hill just found a strange stone artifact in her recent dig at Pitfall Cave in New Zealand.  Just as she’s about to examine it in the basement of the museum where she works, the janitor, Jonna Clarke, touches the wrong thing on it and both of them are zapped into the past. The very, very distant past. The kind with Dinosaurs. And Jonna and Veronica are face that face with them. Although Veronica’s not finding them all that scary. A paleontologist, she’s used to looking at … Continue reading →

Powerful Things

Posted on March 28, 2014 by Kelli Jae BaeliJune 17, 2018

EXCERPT: Sivon stood examining the spot in the trees. It was all covered over, now, with fresh growth, though that portion of the ground seemed out of place. Different, somehow. Alien. She smirked. Turning, she scanned the field leading to the farmhouse, her smile gone as she considered what she was charged to do. There had to be another way. Maybe she could reason with him. She started up the incline toward the house, the tightening in her gut intensifying as she neared the structure. She distracted herself with more idle thoughts. Concentrated on her steps, and the … Continue reading →

Somewhere Else

Posted on February 20, 2014 by Kelli Jae BaeliJanuary 28, 2018

Interesting change of pace May 4, 2017 Although not my preferred subject matter, I decided to give Somewhere Else a try since I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the other books that I’ve read by Kelli Jae Baeli. This book focused on alternative ideas about our existence coupled with Baeli’s trademark wit and humor. This novella was entertaining and opened my mind to that alternative thinking.   5.0 out of 5 starsGood fun By Deanne Kearns on October 25, 2014 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase I hope Kelli Jae Baeli had as much fun writing this book as I did reading … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"There's a spirit of forgiveness that comes from the higher self. and there's a spirit of forgiveness that comes from the lower self. The higher one has to do with allowing all souls to traverse their path without expectation or judgment, and knowing that nothing anyone can do TO you is actually damage. The lower spirit of forgiveness is predicated on fear and stems from a lack of self-respect, integrity, and spiritual awareness, and it has a tendency to perpetuate itself ad nauseam."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Imagine if colleges said, "hey if your kid comes to our school, they have a 20-50% chance of being shot. We could reduce it but don't feel like it."

Would you be cool with that???

So why are we cool with it when it's sexual violence???
