Now, he’s just another nutjob conservative who is part of the problem. Political Correctness, I believe is doing more harm than good in this country…I think I agree with Glenn Beck on this matter, if only in part. His deeper point seems to be that braille on the bathrooms or on a coffee pot for that matter, does not address the real issue, which is rational solutions for accessibility. … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"Adam had a pet dinosaur. The Sunday School teacher told me that while she was clutching her ancient book written millennia ago, by men from another country, in several languages, which she does not speak."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Quotes for Writers

Really, in the end, the only thing that can make you a writer is the person that you are, the intensity of your feeling, the honesty of your vision, the unsentimental acknowledgment of the endless interest of the life around and within you. Virtually nobody can help you deliberately--many people will help you unintentionally. ~ Santha Rama Rau

Word of the Day

noumenonNEW-muh-non In the philosophy of Kant, an object as it is in itself independent of the mind, as opposed to a phenomenon. Also called thing-in-itself.

Favorite Quotes

A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesman and philosophers and divines. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
