Duct Tape & a Tarp

Posted on May 1, 2018 by Kelli Jae BaeliJune 2, 2018

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong Amusing Story June 1, 2018 What a fun read. The characters are fresh and interesting. The story goes places that you wouldn’t believe, being both dramatic and amusing. This is an excellent read, and I did so in one sitting. Into every life a little rain must fall. Sometimes it’s a sprinkle, and sometimes it’s a deluge. This is the wetter one. Drew Keen is not a People-person. No surprise, she’s lived in the Northwoods for the last decade, living simply and working freelance photography jobs for National Geographic. Finally, the loneliness persuades her to … Continue reading →

Throwing Caution (Minocqua Trilogy #1)

Posted on October 19, 2015 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 17, 2020

#1 Bestseller in all 3 of its categories.        EXCERPT: Reading Shakespeare Petra immediately sought the warmth of the fireplace. The logs had burned down to embers, and she tossed kindling and pine cones on top, blew on it until it ignited, then added one medium log. Holding her frozen fingers to the warmth, her thoughts whirled. She had to get her mind back in a good space. She wanted to focus on Jade. She wanted to forget the ugliness that had transpired in the attic. The fear she had felt on that road when she saw the Jeep … Continue reading →

The old one! reviewed Plethora  This is like an adult fairy tale September 25, 2016 This is like an adult fairy tale. It is so absorbing and yet so realistic. There was a “plethora” of wonderful characters and I loved them all. I really liked Brenna and Micah but absolutely loved Tilly. Ms. Baeli has such a fantastic way of making the women so real that I found myself wanting to be friends with them all. The same quirky sense of humor found in this author’s books surely abounds in this one. So, in a nut shell, don’t hesitate to read this if … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"I'm reprimanding and coaching my brain chemicals. Perhaps prematurely, but I always anticipate that which could or could not happen."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

I was really wrong about Biden before the SC primary. His cabinet picks, policy positions, public statements and decisive actions grounded in justice and equity over the first 6 days of his presidency prove that he means business and is clearly the right leader for these times.
