Jael. In a Tent. With a Spike.

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on April 7, 2010 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 3, 2013

Excerpt from Supernatural Hypocrisy: The Cognitive Dissonance of a God Cosmology by Kelli Jae Baeli {website text in red, my comments in black} During some research, came across this page. It’s the most hateful, war-mongering, misogynistic, atavistic, hate-crime supporting, and sickening example of Christian brainwashing I’ve ever seen. And it’s intended for kids. This is the kind of guy who reads the Left Behind novels with demented glee. KID’S BIBLE STORY–  Lesson prepared by: Steve Van Nattan: Blessed Quietness Journal JAEL–A LADY WHO USED WHAT SHE HAD IN HER HAND …the same thing in her head and heart. Something sharp … Continue reading →

Lee Iacocca, Speaking *MY* Mind

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on June 13, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliNovember 29, 2011

Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from it’s death throes? He is now 82 years old and has a new book. Here are some excerpts: “Am I the only guy in this country who’s fed up with what’s happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder. We’ve got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we’ve got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can’t even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around … Continue reading →

McBush: we’ll stay the course for 10,000 Years

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on March 29, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliDecember 5, 2011

There are other candidates who would be worse to have in the Oval Office, than John McCain…like, say, Hitler…..Stalin…..Ghengis Khan, Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper…

The First Idiot & His Right-Hand Dick

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on March 22, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 22, 2008

The First Idiot is once again revising the reasons for going to war. Now, it seems it is about Osama Bin Laden again and the economy. Funny, in an interview with Anne Curry on February 18th, Bush said, “I dont think so. I think actually the spending in the war might help with jobsbecause were buying equipment, and people are working. I think this economy is down because we built too many houses and the economys adjusting.” At any given time in the past, Idiot-extraordinaire Dubya said the war was about oh-so-many things–according to what his pea-brain thought would fly. … Continue reading →

Charity Begins At Home

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on February 11, 2008 by Kelli Jae BaeliFebruary 11, 2008

According to an article from Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, A new large-scale, multidisciplinary ocean exploration program would increase the pace of discovery of new species, ecosystems, energy sources, seafloor features, pharmaceutical products, and artifacts, as well as improve understanding of the role oceans play in climate change, says a new congressionally mandated report from the National Academies’ National Research Council. Such a program should be run by a nonfederal organization and should encourage international participation, added the committee that wrote the report. At least seventy percent of our planet is covered with water, yet only 2% of … Continue reading →

Dubya Dubya Dubya Dot Con

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on December 6, 2007 by Kelli Jae BaeliDecember 6, 2007

There was this protest sign i saw that read: “Would someone please give Bush a Blowjob so We Can Impeach him?” I can think of no more succinct way of illustrating the absurdity of the situation. Tell me again, why was Clinton impeached for trying to cover up details in his sexual Indiscretions, while Dubya remains in office following a long list of truly High Crimes? The first of which was literally RIGGING an election. Isn’t it great when your friends own the voting machines? Isn’t it great when the general public don’t think much of the fact that NONE … Continue reading →

The 11th Hour

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on September 9, 2003 by Kelli Jae BaeliSeptember 9, 2003

(the Persistence of Screaming Jae Baeli) Sept 8thIn a few short days, the 2nd anniversary will be upon us. The Eleventh hour of the 11th. Media, et al, is buzzing about the likelihood of some other attack on us by terrorists. I am apprehensive as well. It makes me angry at them and angry at an administration that mismanaged things from the start. Now the Village Idiot who usurped the Throne–the one we call our President–asks for huge amounts of money to try to clean up the mess; to fund the rebuilding of their “infrastructure.” Well, we have some sorry … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

"I will always defend myself against attack. The High Road isn't necessarily paved with crosses."

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Quotes for Writers

Books aren't written, they're rewritten. Including your own. It is one of the hardest things to accept, especially after the seventh rewrite hasn't quite done it. ~ Michael Crichton

ineffablein-eff-uh-bull Incapable of being expressed or described in words, inexpressible, ineffable joy. Not to be spoken because of its sacredness, unutterable.
