Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on December 14, 2015 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 18, 2023

An Epic story continues… “fast-paced action with significant plot twists to keep you on the edge of your seat.” An epic story continues in Ravens, the second offering of the New Harbor Witches series. Sisters Dane and Penny have been honing their witchy powers in the months since the capture of their most dangerous and powerful nemesis. Now, enemies, new and old, conspire against the Balance Clan in a generations-old battle between good and evil. While some lives are lost, some will rise from the ashes. Rayna and Roman Murdock have ascended to the rank of High Witches and … Continue reading →

New Harbor Witches #1

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on January 13, 2015 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 18, 2023

“An intelligent, well written story. In a refreshing departure from many ‘paranormal romances’, this book is truly well written. A combination of a page turning mystery combined with the melding of people that you want to cheer for. Treat yourself and read this book!” From an already accomplished writer, comes an engaging, sexy, and suspenseful new series about two sisters who thought they were ordinary, until they discovered they were not. Dane sparks runs a bistro and her best friend Trevor is the pseudo-chef who has tried every imaginable way to kill himself, but oddly, never succeeds. Gemma is a … Continue reading →

Quintessence

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on March 28, 2014 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 17, 2022

EXCERPT A buzzing in my head brought me awake. I blinked at the glass a few inches over my face. Ceiling tiles, a florescent light fixture beyond the transparent barrier. I placed both palms on the canopy, feeling a little like I was in a coffin. Pushing on it, I heard another sound like airbrakes again, and the canopy folded back, as if I was emerging from the cockpit of an F16. I sat up. At the foot of the tube, sat Ethan Pritchard. He looked just like the photo on the back of his book. Scruffy salt … Continue reading →

Somewhere Else

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on February 20, 2014 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 17, 2022

Interesting change of pace May 4, 2017 Although not my preferred subject matter, I decided to give Somewhere Else a try since I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the other books that I’ve read by Kelli Jae Baeli. This book focused on alternative ideas about our existence coupled with Baeli’s trademark wit and humor. This novella was entertaining and opened my mind to that alternative thinking.   5.0 out of 5 starsGood fun By Deanne Kearns on October 25, 2014 Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase I hope Kelli Jae Baeli had as much fun writing this book as I did reading … Continue reading →

All The World’s A Stage…

Kelli Jae Baeli Posted on August 21, 2007 by Kelli Jae BaeliMarch 8, 2012

As a person who embraces Spiritual Metaphysics as a belief system, I always try to find correlations. I look for the details that will bring sense to the senseless, or enlightenment to the confusion. One thing I have recently added to my understanding is that astrology is much more than the position of a planet when your were born. There is a deeper meaning. I think we are all born under the signs that will facilitate the growth we need to have. So maybe it’s not so much “I’m a Gemini, I’m just that way” but “I’m a Gemini and … Continue reading →

Quotes from Kelli Jae Baeli

I speak of the open heeled house slipper. There is absolutely nothing holding them on your feet except your good intentions... eventually, you will lift a foot and it will all be over. You'll find yourself stumbling, mashing the cat's tail, dropping your fresh cup of coffee, banging your head on a railing and cracking every toe-knuckle you have. And squishing your cream cheese bagel into your right ear. It can even be worse than that. For instance, I am writing this at the foot of my staircase.

Politics Quotes

"People feel removed from sexism. 'I'm not a sexist, but I'm not a feminist.' They think there's this fuzzy middle ground. There's no fuzzy middle ground. You either believe that women are people or you don't. It's that simple." (Joss Whedon)

Favorite Quotes

If you really want to kill yourself, commit to it! Chew up a thermometer so that if the mercury doesn't get you, the shards of glass will. Eat a bottle of pills, set your hair on fire, jump off a building and shoot yourself in the head on the way down.
